They will not prepare Schedule C (Profit or Loss from Business) Complicated & Advanced Sch D (Capital Gains & Losses), Sch E (Rents & Royalties), Form SS-5 (Requests for Social Security Number) Form 2106 (Employee Business Expenses), Form 3903 (Moving), Form 8606 (Nondeductible IRA), or Form 8615 (Minor’s Investment Income).

PA Department of Revenue: 2006 State Income Tax Deadline Is Extended to April 17

Pennsylvanians have until Tuesday, April 17, 2007, to file their 2006 state income tax returns and pay any taxes due, Secretary of Revenue Gregory C. Fajt said today.

Pennsylvania’s one-day extension was prompted by a similar action taken
by the federal Internal Revenue Service (IRS). On Jan. 24, the IRS extended
the federal income tax deadline to April 17 because April 15 falls on a
Sunday, and Monday, April 16, is Emancipation Day, a legal holiday in the
District of Columbia.

Riley promises tax breaks for small businesses

Gov. Bob Riley promises to pursue legislators with the proposal of providing tax breaks to small businesses that will offer health insurance coverage to its employees. In addition, said Riley, the legislation will provide tax breaks to employees who will not only sign up but participate in their company
