Thomson Tax & Accounting, a business segment of The Thomson Corporation , today announced that ePropertyTax, a product line within its Corporate Software & Services business, has been issued a U.S. patent for 43 claims covering its software system for managing multi-jurisdictional property tax information.
“This is a significant milestone for our company and especially for the ePropertyTax team who invented this technology,” said Brian Peccarelli, president, Corporate Software & Services, Thomson Tax & Accounting. “We now have exclusive rights to an innovative process which has revolutionized the management of national property tax information.”
